Hi and thank you for coming back to visit my blog. This week has been a tough one for my family. My Dad had major surgery last Friday. He is on the road to recovery; but it will be a long, slow road. In visiting him this week it brought back memories of his open heart surgery 10 years ago. As part of his recovery and effort to lead a healthier lifestyle my Dad began walking daily. My nephew loved to walk with him. Below is a photo of them going on one of their walks.

I am proud to say that until three weeks before his most recent surgery my Dad still walks daily. I know he is itching to get back to his daily activities.
