Fun Friday Challenge #115 – Gratitude

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog!  I hope you enjoy the card that I made this week.  Our theme is Gratitude and I know I have much to be grateful for.  This week’s sponsor is Bugaboo.  I chose this Oval Rose image, it struck me as making a beautiful card.

Gratitude Card

To make this card I did the following:

1. Print the digital image on Crafter’s Companion White Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock.
2. Color the image.  I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.
3. Run a piece of manila cardstock through an embossing folder.  I chose this swirl image used because it reminded me of the swirls in the image.

4. Using the Tim Holtz Inking tool and a dye ink, ink the embossed image.
5. Adhere the colored image onto the embossed cardstock.  Mat on black cardstock.
6. Cut two pieces of matching ribbon and adhere top and bottom.
7. Cut a piece of cardstock to 6″ x 11″ and fold in half.

8. Find a matching patterned paper, cut in 1″ squares and adhere to the edge.
9. Adhere the matted image to the card.
10. Adhere some bling to the center of the paper squares.

11. Stamp your sentiment.  I chose the word thanks and stamped it multiple times on the card.
