Hello and welcome back to my blog! I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by and taking the time to visit. This week I want to share with you the second of the tags I made for a swap. For this tag I chose a wedding theme.
To create this tag I did the following:
- Selected the tag shape from a free file I previously saved and cut it using my Gazelle from heavy duty cardstock.
- Stamp the ring and dove images on the tag with Versamark clear ink and emboss it with white embossing powder.
- I blended the following Distress Ink colors: Festive Berry, Mustard Seed, Seedless Grape.
- Then, I layered the background with first with the Script background stamp and grey Momento ink and the second layer uses the chicken wire stencil and brown Chalk ink.
- I wiped off the embossed areas using a tissue (a cloth will also work) to remove the ink from the embossed areas.
- I stamped the sentiment Celebrate in black Momento ink between the two embossed images.
- I added bling to the corners of my tag as well as ribbon to complete the look.
I hope you like the tag as much as I do. I hope you will try and make something like it for yourself. Please let me know how it turns out.
