Hello and welcome back!  I hope you have had a good week.  Today I want to share with you a birthday card I made for a friend.

To create this card I did the following:

  1. I took a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ lavender cardstock, fold it in half and cut it in half so you have two 5

    1/2″ x 4 1/4″ top fold card.

  2. Cut three strips of scrap patterned paper 1″ wide by 3 3/4″ long.  Trim one end to give a banner look.  Ink the edges and adhere to the card.
  3. Using a Fiskars boarder punch I created a boarder to go across the card.
  4. I added a strip of green cardstock.
  5. Using my cupcake stamp and black pigment ink, stamp the image onto watercolor paper.  Emboss the image with black embossing powder.  Dry with a heat gun.
  6. To color the cupcake I chose a few Gelato pigment sticks by Faber Castelle.  I Rubbed a little bit of the

  7. Outside the image I used a shade of green.  Cut in the shape of a tag and ink the edges.  Let dry and adhere to the card.

I hope you like the card as much as my friend did.  Please leave your comments, I love to hear from you.

Take care!
