Happy Birthday Card
To create this card I did the following:
- I took a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ lavender cardstock, fold it in half and cut it in half so you have two 5

1/2″ x 4 1/4″ top fold card.
- Cut three strips of scrap patterned paper 1″ wide by 3 3/4″ long. Trim one end to give a banner look. Ink the edges and adhere to the card.
- Using a Fiskars boarder punch I created a boarder to go across the card.
- I added a strip of green cardstock.
- Using my cupcake stamp and black pigment ink, stamp the image onto watercolor paper. Emboss the image with black embossing powder. Dry with a heat gun.
- To color the cupcake I chose a few Gelato pigment sticks by Faber Castelle. I Rubbed a little bit of the

pigment onto my craft mat and, using a watercolor brush, brushed the color into the embossed image. TIP: For a darker color, use less water.
- Outside the image I used a shade of green. Cut in the shape of a tag and ink the edges. Let dry and adhere to the card.
