FFC 134 – Color Challenge

Welcome to Fun Friday Challenge.  This week our theme is a color challenge and the colors are tan, red, and black.  Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps.  The stamp I used is one of several images from  the Birds & Cages digital stamp.

Mother’s Day Card

To make the above card, I did the following:

1. Print and stamp the image onto Crafter’s Companion White Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock.
2. Color your images with Alcohol Markers.  I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers with the following

   Colored tan

   color combinations:

   1. Background:  TN2, TN5, TN7
   2. Birdcage and title:  DR1, DR3, DR5
3. Using the largest of the Creative Memories circle cutters and the blue blade I cut out the digital stamp.

   Colored red and tan

4. I used the same circle cutter and the green blade to cut a black cardstock on which to mat the digital stamp.
5. I cut a 4″ x 10″ piece of tan cardstock and folded it in half to form the card.
6. I cut a piece of red cardstock 3.5″ x 5″ and adhered it to the front of my card.
7. I adhered the matted digital stamp on the card.
8. I stamped my sentiment on the card.
9. Below the digital image I adhered 3 pieces of black bling.

I tried to really stick to the color theme of tan, red, and black.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do!
